At just 17, Lamine Yamal has been calculated as the most valuable player in world football - with CIES determining the Barcelona star to be worth £339million.
Yamal has spearheaded Hansi Flick's side's title triumph in LaLiga and run defenders ragged all season having already established himself as a superstar for club and country.
Even if there was a club willing or able to pay his estimated worth, Barcelona would still have the power to say no given Yamal's new contract.
He has a release clause set prohibitively set at €1billion (£841m) and seems set to be the jewel in Barcelona's crown for years to come.
The make-up of the CIES list is a fascinating one, with the Premier League dominating the rankings compiled by the Football Observatory research group.
The English top flight has 42 players in the top 100, while LaLiga have 19 in second place.
Behind Yamal, with a worth of £201m is Erling Haaland in second place. He's ahead of Real Madrid supremo and fellow striker Kylian Mbappe (£161m).
Interestingly, Mbappe is not the most valuable Real player on the list, as Jude Bellingham slots in one place ahead of him and the Frenchman is also the oldest player in the top 10 at 26.
Bellingham is given a value of £196m having started life in Spain's capital in impressive fashion, albeit without silverware this term.
Cole Palmer is the only other English player in the top 10, slotting in at No 8 behind Jamal Musiala, Pedri and Vinicius Jr.
Palmer is valued at £106m and would perhaps have been even higher but for some struggles in front of goal over the second half of the Premier League season.
Liverpool fans checking for where Florian Wirtz features, ahead of his impending British record move to the Reds, will find him in 10th place.
His value is calculated to be worth £102m, which is less than the fee Liverpool are expected to pay - given their last offer was £109m.
Arne Slot's side will be pleased with where Jeremie Frimpong is valued, given they paid a release clause of £29.5m.
His true market cost would have been at the £55.4m mark, according to the stats boffins.
Champions League winners PSG have the most players in the top 100 of any side, with 11 featuring.
The highest value of those is Joao Neves in 13th (£99m).
Bukayo Saka is listed as the most valuable Arsenal player in 14th place (£96m), only just ahead of Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers (£95m).
Unsurprisingly, the attacking players feature far higher in the top 100. But what of the goalkeepers and defenders?
Brighton's 22-year-old stopper Bart Verbruggen is the surprise top ranked keeper, worth an estimated £54m.
The Seagulls are well represented with Carlos Baleba (£66m) and Joao Pedro (£57.7) also in the top 100.
Europe's big five leagues are of course the best represented but there are a few exceptions.
Samu Aghehowa and Viktor Gyökeres are the two players plying their trade in Portugal to make the top 100, valued at £60m and £59.5m respectively.
Jhon Duran, the former Aston Villa man now playing in Saudi Arabia, is No 100 and worth £48m.
