Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Tosin Adarabioyo and Wesley Fofana are both available for Friday’s clash with West Ham, but Romeo Lavia and Benoit Badiashile remain sidelined.

The Blues head to the London Stadium on Friday evening for a hotly-anticipated London derby against the Hammers, with Maresca confirming the latest team news when speaking to the gathered media at Cobham.

A number of questions were put to the head coach, including the latest on the team news front, with Maresca confirming the availability of a number of his players.

‘Tosin is available for tomorrow,’ the Italian said at his pre-match press conference.

‘I’m a little bit surprised because last week when he wasn’t available, the day before it was everywhere [in the media] that he wasn’t available! Now I don’t know why you don’t know he is available! But yes, he is available.’

‘Romeo is still out and won’t play in this game. That is the same for Benoit, he is out too. As I said, Wes is back and will be part of the squad.'

Maresca also confirmed that Nicolas Jackson is available after serving his suspension against Crystal Palace on the opening day, but that the striker won’t be part of the squad for Friday’s game. Neither will Christopher Nkunku.

Meanwhile, Aaron Anselmino is another player that could depart before the end of the transfer window with Maresca confirming that the defender is potentially set for a loan move.

‘With Aaron, he is training with us, training very hard and is a fantastic boy,' added Maresca.

'He’s a really good player, but he needs to play games and he is another one who is waiting for a solution [to go out on loan].’
