Jobe Bellingham's future at Borussia Dortmund is uncertain following his difficult start - but the midfielder has no interest in leaving them to join United on loan

Jobe Bellingham has no interest in a shock move to Manchester United. United have been weighing up a potential loan deal for the Borussia Dortmund star.

Bellingham, brother of England and Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham, has struggled to settle following his move from Sunderland to Dortmund in the summer. He has made just two league starts for the German giants, and found himself benched for last weekend's home win over Köln.

He had to settle for a short cameo appearance at the end. But despite his frustrations, it's understood Bellingham would snub a move to United, because Ruben Amorim's men are not in the Champions League. If he was to leave Dortmund, the 20-year-old would want to join a club which can offer him games at the highest level.

And the news could see United step up their interest in England and Atletico Madrid star Conor Gallagher.

Gallagher has not started a game for Diego Simeone's side since September, and knows he needs regular starts to boost his chances of making Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the World Cup.

Bellingham was hailed as one of Dortmund's marquee signings when he joined them in a £27m deal in July, but has failed to score in 12 appearances. To make matters worse, there are growing tensions off the pitch between Bellingham's dad Mark Bellingham and Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl.

The pair clashed at the start of the season, when Bellingham senior, a former non-league striker and retired police sergeant, took exception to his son being substituted at half-time on his Bundesliga debut by head coach Niko Kovac. The decision infuriated Mark, who waited in the tunnel after the final whistle to confront members of the club's hierarchy.

The scenario has led to speculation mounting about Bellingham's future.

Amorim is keen to bolster his midfield options, and is expected to make a signing in the January transfer window.
