Liverpool icon Mohamed Salah was named the Premier League's standout performer at the inaugural Sofascore Player of the Season Awards.
The Egyptian forward capped a sensational 2024-25 campaign with a 7.78 Sofascore rating, having scored 29 goals and provided 18 assists in 38 games to fire Liverpool to the Premier League title.
The ceremony, held in Zadar, Croatia, during the Sunset Sports Festival and broadcast on CBS, recognised the top performers across Europe's leading competitions.
Unlike traditional accolades, the winners were chosen purely on Sofascore's statistical ratings, built on every pass, goal, tackle and mistake throughout the season.
Barcelona winger Raphinha enjoyed a double triumph, taking both the La Liga prize and the UEFA Champions League award.
The Brazilian inspired Barca to the Spanish title with 18 goals and nine assists in 36 matches, as well as lighting up Europe with 13 goals and eight assists in 14 UCL games as Hansi Flick's side reached the semi-finals.
In Germany, Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich led the way with a 7.91 rating, while Lazio's Mattia Zaccagni (7.34) topped Serie A and Paris Saint-Germain's Achraf Hakimi (7.76) earned Ligue 1 honours.
Real Madrid icon Luka Modric, who moved to AC Milan this summer, received Sofascore's first-ever Founders' Legend Award, celebrating his longevity and influence during more than two decades at the summit of the sport.
The show was hosted by Kate Scott and Peter Schmeichel, with contributions from Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards and Alessandro Del Piero.
Among those in attendance were Dimitar Berbatov, UFC champion Stipe Miocic and Croatia's World Cup finalist Sime Vrsaljko.
Billboards showcasing the winners were also unveiled in cities including Liverpool, Barcelona and Munich, ensuring fans across Europe could see their heroes celebrated away from the stage.
Salah's Sofascore success comes after he was also named as the official Premier League Player of the Season.
The 33-year-old became the fifth player to win the award twice - following in the footsteps of Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidic and Kevin De Bruyne.
Salah also won the 2024-25 edition of the PFA Players' Player of the Year and the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year.
