According to the official statement, Bayern Munich sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool with contract until June 2029.
FC Bayern have signed Colombian international Luis Diaz from English champions Liverpool FC. The attacker has signed a contract with the Munich club until June 30, 2029 and will wear the number "14" shirt at the German champions.
Luis Diaz: "I'm very happy, it means a lot to me to be part of FC Bayern, it's one of the biggest clubs in the world. I want to help my new team with the way I play football and my personality. My goal is to win as many titles as possible: we will work for it as a team every day."
Luis Díaz (28 years old) began his professional career at Barranquilla FC, a second division club in his native Colombia, where he made his debut with the first team in 2016. After two seasons at Atlético Junior in the first division, with whom he won the league twice, as well as the Colombian Cup and Super Cup, he signed for FC Porto in the summer of 2019 and played a total of 125 official games with the Portuguese club, in which he scored 41 goals. Here he also continued to collect titles, winning two league championships and two Cups, as well as winning the Portuguese Super Cup.
Liverpool FC signed him in January 2022. With the Reds, he won the English Premier League, the Cup, the English Super Cup and the English League Cup twice. He participated in 148 official matches (41 goals, 23 assists). Díaz has been playing with the Colombian National Team since 2018. He has scored 19 goals in 64 international matches to date and was the top scorer in the 2020/21 Copa América.
