Bayern dismiss reports of approaching Salah

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has denied the club have made an approach for Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool announced last week that Salah would be leaving the club at the end of the season, having reached an agreement to allow him to leave his contract early.

His nine-year stint on Merseyside has been wildly successful, picking up two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.

Salah has made 435 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions to date, netting 255 goals and providing 119 assists, while he enjoyed an enormously successful 2024-25, with 47 of those goal involvements coming in last season's Premier League.

His next move is currently unknown, with Salah's agent confirming after the news that they had accepted no offers from clubs yet.

And Bayern have ruled themselves out of the running for his signature for the time being.

"No, Mohamed Salah has not received any offer from Bayern Munich," Eberl said on Winwin when asked about the reports linking the Egyptian to the club.

Salah has been heavily linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League in recent years, though other clubs, including some in MLS and the Turkish Super Lig, have also been in the conversation.
