Jurgen Klopp is a dream target for Al-Ittihad. Although genuine interest in bringing the former Liverpool boss to Saudi Arabia, nothing is developing despite the departure of Francisco Conceição.
Ittihad feel it would be near impossible to convince Klopp, who insists he's happy at Red Bull. The club can't provide the level of financial support needed, and only further Ministry backing could change this in the future.
Club insiders admit Klopp would be an ideal appointment one day, but there is an acceptance a deal is difficult, and suggestions of any advanced talks are downplayed.
