AC Milan moved back within five points of Serie A leaders Inter with a comfortable 3-0 win over Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christopher Nkunku and Adrien Rabiot got the all-important goals for Massimiliano Allegri's team, who continued their fine form on the road.
Nkunku saw two headers kept out by Federico Ravaglia at close range in the 20th minute, but Milan kept the attack alive as Rabiot pulled it back for Loftus-Cheek to guide into the empty net.
Bologna had dominated to that point and continued to enjoy a lot of the ball, but Milan found another goal 19 minutes later when Nkunku was caught by a desperate Ravaglia.
The Frenchman then stepped up to the penalty spot, coolly sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to pick out the bottom-right corner.
And just over two minutes after half-time, Milan were gifted their third; Juan Miranda's throw-in cleared all of his team-mates, and Rabiot raced onto it, nodding it down before firing under Ravaglia, who had rushed off his line.
Bologna upped the pressure somewhat after that, though Mike Maignan only had one save of note to make as he celebrated his contract renewal, getting down sharply to deny Jens Odgaard.
And substitute Niclas Fullkrug missed a late chance to add some gloss to the scoreline as his tight-angled header was pounced on by Ravaglia.

Milan are now unbeaten in their first 12 away matches in Serie A this season (W7 D5), with this the first time they have managed the feat since 2003-04 (W9 D3).
It was a classic away-day performance; though Bologna had more shots (13 to 10) and more of the ball (54.5%), Milan got seven of their attempts on target and accumulated 2.61 expected goals (xG).
Rabiot (four goals, four assists) is only one of the two midfielders to have scored at least four goals and provided at least four assists in Serie A this season, along with Nico Paz (eight goals, six assists). After seeing Jean-Philippe Mateta's move from Crystal Palace fall through on Monday, the Rossoneri need their midfielders to keep stepping up.
