The French striker followed former Parma coach Cristian Chivu to Inter this summer.
Bonny told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Several teams wanted me, but I had no doubts: when Inter comes after you, you don't think twice.
"This club was what I wanted; I wanted to live my childhood dream here. As soon as I signed, I posted a photo of myself as a child in the Nerazzurri jersey on social media: it was destiny.
"That was the first jersey my mother bought me when I was six, I'm attached to it for life. And then this is a very French club, given the champions it has produced."
On senior strikers Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, he also said: "I always study them, trying to understand the details, the way they move with and without the ball. I do it to try to one day get close to their level: right now I'm a long way off.
"Both Lautaro and Thuram told me two simple things, like older brothers: the first, 'have fun.' The second, 'always look for the goal,' because we're strikers and we're also judged by our goals."
