Bundesliga squad costs: Bayern lead at €538M, Leverkusen second, Schalke among lowest at €9.65M

After the transfer window closed, Transfermarkt compiled the squad costs of the 18 Bundesliga teams. Squad cost refers to the total transfer fees spent by a team to assemble its current roster.

Bayern Munich has the highest squad cost in the Bundesliga at €538 million. Bayer Leverkusen ranks second with €478 million, relatively close behind Bayern. Borussia Dortmund ranks third. At the lower end, Schalke 04 has the second-lowest squad cost at €9.65 million.
