Juventus left it late to remain top of the Europa League table after Randal Kolo Muani scored a 92nd-minute winner in the Bianconeri's 2-1 victory over Celta Vigo.

Match Report

The Serie A giants found themselves 1-0 down heading into the break after Hugo Alvarez's opener, but Nick Woltemade volleyed Luciano Spalletti's side level in the second half.
And in the dying moments, Andrea Cambiaso's cross into the box was headed home by Kolo Muani in the dying minutes to snatch all three points at Estadio Abanca-Balaidos.
Celta scored with just their second shot as they worked the ball across the box before Williot Swedberg teed up Alvarez for an easy finish from close range in the 18th minute.
Woltemade squandered a good chance to equalise before half-time, blazing over from close range, but he restored parity just before the hour mark with a fine volley into the bottom-right corner after Marcos Alonso inexplicably tried to control a cross on his chest but instead set up the striker.
Javi Rueda fired into the side-netting soon after, despite his team-mates pleading for a cut-back in the box, while Nico Gonzalez curled agonisingly wide of the left post at the other end in the 88th minute.
However, Spalletti's side conjured up one more chance, with Kolo Muani sending Cambiaso's cross through the legs of Ionut Radu to break the hearts of the home fans.

Struggling strikers ease pressure on Spalletti
Juve fans have been calling for Antonio Conte to be reappointed in recent weeks after a poor start to the season under Spalletti, but summer signings Woltemade and Kolo Muani, who have come under plenty of criticism themselves, stepped up for their head coach.
Woltemade scored his second Europa League goal for the Bianconeri, which helped inspire a comeback from the visitors, while Kolo Muani has now scored two in two across all competitions as both strikers found their scoring touch at an important time.
Juve (1.7) accumulated more expected goals (xG) than Celta (1.02), which comes as no surprise after they recorded 22 shots to the Spanish side's nine and had over twice as many touches in the opposition box (46 to 17).
Spalletti will hope this serves as a confidence booster for his side, who won after trailing for the first time since November 2025 in a home match against Cagliari in Serie A.
The Bianconeri remain perfect in the Europa League this season nonetheless, sitting in top spot after two matchdays – ahead of Bayer Leverkusen on goals scored.
