De Rossi spoke to DAZN before Genoa's match against Milan, discussing tactics, squad depth and his coaching philosophy.

On his starting lineup, De Rossi said: "It's not easy to settle on the starting XI, which shows we are in a good place right now. We chose this group of players because they combine speed with height. Milan and Lecce are the two teams with the biggest threat from set pieces, and it's hard to leave out Robinho Junior and Junior Messias."
Asked whether the return of key players has driven the team's improvement in form and results, he said: "It's not just us, it's every team. When both the starting XI and the bench have enough available players, that's a huge advantage. Substitutions are becoming increasingly decisive in games, and the team's attacking output will improve as a result."
Reflecting on his year in charge of Genoa, De Rossi said: "You learn from your lows, and in the toughest periods a turning point may be just around the corner. We are ambitious and won't be satisfied with our current points tally. But we also know that one defeat can put us back in trouble. Fortunately, we have shown that we can climb out of a slump. Football is all about balance."
