Roma chief Ricky Massara is set to open new contract talks with Paulo Dybala's camp.
The Argentina attacker proved the matchwinner at Sassuolo on Sunday to send Roma level with Napoli at the top of the Serie A table.
Dybala, however, is off contract at the end of the season and talks over a new deal are yet to commence.
Il Corriere dello Sport says Massara isn't expected to open formal negotiations over any player's contract until January. However, contact is expected to be made with Dybala's team next month to set up the outline for talks.
It's understood, despite major interest from the Middle East, Massara will insist on Dybala accepting a cut on his current wages in order to extend his stay with the Giallorossi.
