CBS host Kate Scott couldn't resist a cheeky swipe at Micah Richards following Manchester City's guilty verdict
Kate Scott took a cheeky swipe at Micah Richards when introducing the panel for CBS Sports' coverage of Champions League games. The former Man City defender has come under fire for his allegiance to the club, where he won a Premier League title and an FA Cup, following their guilty verdict.
Scott, who hosts the CBS Sports coverage of the Champions League, has a brilliant rapport with her colleagues, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Richards. However, it was Richards who found himself on the receiving end of the banter on Tuesday night - and was left hanging his head in defeat as Carragher and Henry burst out laughing.
At the start of the show, Scott introduced the panel and said: "Welcome along to London, everybody, so good to have you with us. I'm Kate Scott, joined by a man who has won it all.
"The World Cup, the Euros, the Champions League, the Premier League and La Liga, Thierry Henry. Next to him, a Champions League winner, also won what was the UEFA Cup, now the Europa League.
"He won the FA Cup and League Cup too, Jamie Carragher. And then, this is awkward isn't it? He already has less accolades on set than anybody else on set.
"For now, he is still a Premier League winner and FA Cup winner before he has to mail those medals to somebody at Stoke or Manchester United. Big Meeks, Michah Richards."

Arsenal legend Henry could not believe what he was hearing, saying 'wow' three times during the brutal put-down, while Carragher could not hold back his laughter.
Richards did not respond to the jibe, stooping his head and staring at the table before rearranging his pen and his phone.
Richards has already cut an emotional figure on our TV screens, saying he was devastated after hearing his former club had been found guilty of all 114 financial rule breaches.
He told Sky Sports: “In terms of Man City, it'll galvanise the players. We've all been in dressing rooms where there is outside noise, you all come together.
“I feel devastated, really, for the fans. Coming through the Man City academy all the way to the first-team, winning trophies, for all that to be in question now is very confusing.
“You've got two sides, one saying there's charges [of guilt], the other saying there is irrefutable evidence [of innocence]. It just leaves me [as a former player] and fans so devastated.
“I feel let down by the fact that it's dragged on for so long. Make it easier for the fans. Us as players, what we can do?
“I'd do anything for this club, but my integrity is being questioned. I'm in a difficult position. I’ve given everything for this club, I've literally got one knee… because of this club.”
City have appealed the independent Commission's decision and continue to maintain their innocence.
