According to Sky Germany reporter Plettenberg, Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed that Ismael Saibari will be out for three to four months with a syndesmosis ligament tear.

Max Eberl said: "The surgery went very well yesterday. Ismael Saibari was already sitting with us at lunch today. I was very surprised and asked him whether he would be out for two or three weeks. He smiled and said, 'Two and a half.' That's probably not going to be the case. Given the syndesmosis ligament tear, we expect him to be out for three to four months."
