Mundo Deportivo: Al-Hilal's current situation affects transfer negotiations; Casado willing to move

According to the latest report from Mundo Deportivo, the transfers of Cancelo and Casado have both been delayed due to internal changes within Al-Hilal.

Reportedly, Barcelona's situation depends on Al-Hilal, and the two parties are discussing multiple deals, the most important of which is Cancelo's transfer, which is one of Flick's top priorities to strengthen the full-back position. In addition, Al-Hilal is also interested in Raphinha and may sign Casado, who is not in Flick's plans. However, Al-Hilal's current situation has slowed down the progress of these negotiations.

Al-Hilal is currently focused on selecting and hiring a sporting director responsible for formulating the team's strategy for next season. Their primary decision is whether to retain Simone Inzaghi, which is no small matter. The Italian coach has a very strained relationship with Cancelo, and he originally intended to sell the Portuguese defender so that he could successfully coach the team.

If there is a change of coach, Al-Hilal will have to negotiate a contract with Cancelo and submit various materials to him, including documents related to Barcelona, which include their interest in Raphinha. Although the club management is willing to make an offer to Barcelona, this offer ultimately needs to be approved by the new sporting director.

However, Raphinha himself has made it clear that he wants to stay at Barcelona, and the situation with Casado is similar, with his agent Mendes having recommended him. Casado is open to a transfer, but if he chooses to go to Saudi Arabia, he would prefer to join Al Nassr, where he would feel more secure.
