Nantes are close to signing AZ Alkmaar right-winger Mayckel Lahdo (22) on loan with an option to buy, according to a report this Sunday from Fabrizio Romano. The deal is reportedly in its final stages. Les Canaris were in the market for a right-sided winger after parting ways with Moses Simon. The Nigerian international signed a three-year deal with Nantes’ Ligue 1 rivals Paris FC.
Lahdo joined AZ Alkmaar from formative club Hammarby three-and-a-half years ago. The former Sweden U21 international has logged 14 goals and nine assists in 98 games played with the Eredivisie side. Lahdo remains tied with AZ Alkmaar over a contract set to expire in 2027.
