With Inter Miami returning to winning ways after a recent solid run in MLS, Lionel Messi is currently on duty with the Argentine national team. In the first of the two World Cup qualifiers, the Albiceleste beat Chile (0-1) and will now face Colombia this Tuesday at the Estadio Mâs Monumental. Messi was a substitute in Chile, but his starting spot is guaranteed for the match against Colombia.
The captain is poised to return to Lionel Scaloni’s starting eleven and has the firm intention of closing this stage of the campaign with a home win.
Messi only played for approximately 35 minutes in Argentina’s visit to Chile last Thursday but is expected to be given more game time in the clash against Colombia with the Rosario native then set to turn his thoughts to the Club World Cup.

After the match, Messi will return to Inter Miami with the Florida side set to feature in the inaugural game at the expanded FIFA , Club World Cup where the Herons face Al-Ahly on Saturday, June 14 at the Hard Rock Stadium.
