Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing up a trio of Premier League stars to spearhead their new era of Galacticos.

The Spanish titans, who have clinched two of the last three Champions League titles, are eager to build a squad that can continue to rule European football for the foreseeable future.

After years of snapping up the world's top young talent, Real's transfer strategy has started to pay off with silverware both at home and in Europe. This surge in on-field and commercial success has put the club in a position to flex their financial might, with Los Blancos ready to target established stars once more.

According to The Independent, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, Arsenal defender William Saliba and Manchester City's Rodri are all on Real Madrid's transfer radar. Let's take a look at how these three players could fit into the club's revamped Galacticos.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool's right-back has redefined the role, contributing to 106 goals in 319 appearances. It's a position that Real Madrid will be keen to prioritise as they currently rely on seasoned duo Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez.

Alexander-Arnold, 25, is in the final year of his Liverpool contract, sparking fears that he could depart on a free transfer, though it's difficult to envision the defender playing for another English club. Real Madrid's interest is reportedly further piqued by Alexander-Arnold's friendship with England colleague Jude Bellingham and their discussions about life in Madrid, reports the Express.

William Saliba

Saliba has been a standout defender in the Premier League since breaking into the Arsenal team in 2022. The 23-year-old was ever-present for a Gunners side that conceded only 29 goals league last term and would help freshen up Real Madrid's centre-back options, which include 31-year-old Antonio Rudiger and an injured David Alaba.

It is claimed that Real view the Frenchman as a player who can become the 'future of their defence.' However, with a contract at the Emirates that doesn't run out until the summer of 2027, it'll cost Los Blancos a pretty penny and then some if they want to prise Saliba from the Gunners.

Rodri

The Manchester City midfielder is arguably the most pivotal player in Pep Guardiola's team. Before this season, City had lost seven of their 18 league games without Rodri, while only losing 19 times in his 173 appearances for the club. Aged 27, he is slightly older than Saliba and Alexander-Arnold but is still 12 years younger than Luka Modric.

Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing up the Spain national team star, believing he may be interested in a return to La Liga. The Spanish champions are also said to be keeping tabs on City's hearing into 115 alleged breaches of the Premier League's financial rules, charges which the current champions vehemently deny.

Any new signings would join a Real Madrid squad already brimming with talent. Despite joining as a free agent, Kylian Mbappe's move to the Bernabeu felt like a throwback to the extravagant Galacticos era, with the French skipper making an immediate impact by scoring five goals in his first seven games for the club.

Bellingham, at just 21, has made a similar impression in his debut season at Madrid, contributing to 36 goals in 42 games. Brazilian wonderkid Endrick was another summer addition, having agreed a lucrative move from Palmeiras in December 2022 and netting twice in his first five games.

Vinicius Jr exemplifies the club's previous transfer strategy, having joined from Flamengo as a teenager. However, the Brazilian forward has since established himself as one of the world's top players.

These attacking talents are complemented by the defensive skills of Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, both of whom joined as promising midfielders.
