Rooney commented: "Yamal looks really exciting. He didn't get many chances in the game, but I really like his eagerness to make forward runs. Many young players will actively drop back to receive the ball and ask for the ball at their feet to show off their skills, but he can also choose another option – running in behind. He just hasn't received those crucial passes that can reach his feet or in front of him. He is really spectacular to watch, and I love watching him play."
