Former Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni believes Alessandro Bastoni will bounce back from his dismissal for Italy this week.

Just weeks after his controversy with Pierre Kalulu and Juventus, Bastoni saw red in Italy's World Cup playoff defeat to Bosnia.
Asked if the defender will ever recover from these setbacks, Stramaccioni told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Alessandro is an intelligent guy and he knows he made a mistake in risking that tackle.
"For me, his natural position is center-left, where he makes the difference and that's the one for which Barcelona is courting him. He's less comfortable as a central defender in a back three or as a centre-right back four, but he needed to play there, and he did.
"However, that doesn't change his value."
Asked how the Italy shock will affect Inter's players for the remainder of the season, Stramaccioni added: "(Fede) Dimarco, (Nicolo) Barella, and Bastoni are key players for Inter and the Azzurri.
"They were coming off a difficult spell in Serie A, and Bastoni wasn't in top form, even missing the game in Florence.
"Certainly, if they aren't at their best, the backbone of Italy suffers. It won't be easy for any Azzurri player to turn the page, not just the Inter players."
