Nahuel Guzmán’s legendary status at Tigres continues to grow, as the Argentine goalkeeper has now recorded 200 clean sheets wearing the club’s iconic colors.

Keeps Chivas out to bring up double century

Guzmán hit the milestone during Tigres’ scoreless draw against Chivas Guadalajara on Wednesday, keeping the net untouched in what was his 515th appearance for the team. Notably, the 39-year-old saved a second-half Chivas penalty, parrying Efraín Álvarez’s 60th-minute spot-kick.

Guzmán joined Tigres in the Apertura 2014 - and made an immediate impact upon his arrival, showcasing his talent between the posts. His first shutout came against Querétaro in a Copa MX match on September 23, 2014.

Eleven years later, the five-time Liga MX champion remains a cornerstone of Tigres’ defense, consistently delivering elite performances and proving to be an almost impenetrable wall for opposing strikers.
