The clock is ticking. Real Madrid and Barcelona secured their place in the Copa del Rey final after eliminating Real Sociedad and Atlético de Madrid... and they're already thinking about the derby that will decide the knockout tournament. Another title, another one, will be contested by two clubs currently aiming for the treble. The venue that will host it will be La Cartuja Stadium , a field that has raised doubts over the last month due to the delay in construction work that should have been completed according to schedule.
However, Seville's weather has turned everything upside down. March has been a month of significant rain in the Andalusian capital, significantly impacting the stadium construction . And although official sources confirmed mid-month that the turf would begin to be laid on April 1st, it wasn't until the morning of the 3rd that they began to give color to the ground at La Cartuja.
Despite this, there is great confidence that the stadium will be ready in time for the big event. Louzán himself visited it a couple of weeks ago and was also optimistic about the deadlines: "We're all looking forward to all the work being completed and completed well. I'd like to thank all the authorities for their sensitivity towards the RFEF. I thought the rain might hinder the progress of the works, but I see that it's going well ."

At La Cartuja, they're confident the stadium will be in perfect condition for the important match on April 26th, and so is the RFEF. The turf is already in place, and it's a process that shouldn't take too long. Even some people from the Isla de La Cartuja area, where the field is located, expressed their optimism to Relevo . The Copa del Rey final, for now, seems to be clear.
