Wrexham have passed on signing Dele Alli.
Released from his contract at Como in preseason, Alli has been training on his own as he seeks a new club.
Championship outfit Wrexham had been linked with the former Tottenham and Everton midfielder.
The speculation was fueled by the Welsh club choosing to leave one spot in their 24-man Championship squad free.
The Daily Express says Alli was considered, but that final place has now been taken by last season's Player of the Year, Oliver Rathbone.
The former Manchester United trainee missed the start of the season due to an ankle injury, but is now ready to return.
