Real Madrid already have their minds set on the derby against Atlético de Madrid. A duel that will be played this Saturday, 27 September, at the Metropolitano at 16.15. After Tuesday's 4-1 win over Levante, Xabi Alonso gave his players a rest day.
So, this morning, from 11.00 am, Real Madrid will begin preparations at Valdebebas for next Saturday's game at the Metropolitano. Xabi Alonso is without the injured Rüdiger, Mendy and Trent for the game.
The Basque coach rested Carvajal and Militao against Levante with Atlético de Madrid in mind. They did not play a single minute. Tchouaméni, Xabi Alonso's regular in midfield, did. The Frenchman started on the bench, but came on in the second half. Bellingham and Camavinga, just back from injury, had minutes in Valencia with the derby in mind and could play against Atlético, although it seems unlikely that they will start.
