Afterwards, Juric said: "I think we played well in the first half; we conceded a truly avoidable goal, but in the second half we wanted to play the game as we had prepared, without losing our composure. I think we crushed them in the second half and created plenty of scoring opportunities. The players who came on gave us a huge boost; it was truly beautiful and I think it was fully deserved.
"We're creating a great spirit, a desire to work. We're missing a lot of players, but today the unexpected ones, like Ahanor and Bernasconi, played amazing games. Everyone who came on, from Zappacosta to the others, gave a significant boost."
On the youth of the team he has taken on, Juric also said: "I agree about the young players; I think we can play better. But I'd focus on the good news: the names of the two players who were excellent, the substitutions we made, and the changes we made changed the game.
"There are positives, especially because it was important to win. I also think the intensity needs to be increased a bit: in the first half, there wasn't that fierce pressure on the opposing team."
