On July 9, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed with his trademark "Here we go!" that ACF Fiorentina have reached an agreement to sign Arthur Atta from Udinese Calcio in a deal worth more than €30 million.
According to Romano, Fiorentina and Udinese have finalized an agreement for the transfer of Arthur Atta. Negotiations between the two clubs were led by Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo and Fiorentina sporting director Fabio Paratici. As reported by Sky Sport Italia, Fiorentina accelerated talks earlier today and successfully completed the deal.
The transfer package is understood to be worth €30 million plus add-ons, with a sell-on clause also included in the agreement.
Romano added that, despite reports linking both AC Milan and Inter Milan with the midfielder, no concrete negotiations ever took place with either club.
Arthur Atta is now travelling to Florence to undergo his medical examination and complete the formalities of signing his contract with Fiorentina.
